What does standard plasma transfusion primarily provide (and what does it NOT provide)?
Provides: coagulation factors (incl. labile factors in FFP), other plasma proteins, and anticoagulants like antithrombin.\n\nDoes NOT provide: meaningful oxygen-carrying capacity (RBCs) or functional platelet support (standard plasma is not a platelet product).
